ToggleOctober was all about speed and simplicity at Lyzr.
We focused on helping builders do less manual work and get more done, whether it’s converting APIs, linking agents across ecosystems, or keeping workflows running without interruptions.
If you’ve ever thought “This could’ve been automated” while setting up your agent or fixing a small integration detail, this month’s updates are for you.
Here’s what’s new
1. Auto-Convert to OpenAPI Format
Now, when setting up a new tool, just:
- Paste your API details.
- Click Convert to OpenAPI.
- Get a validated, ready-to-use OpenAPI file.
No manual edits, no external converters, and no time wasted fixing syntax errors.
It’s a simple upgrade that saves setup time and makes it easier to bring any API into your workflow.
2. Agent-to-Agent (A2A) in Workflows
Agents now work better together , even if they come from different platforms.
With A2A support, you can connect a Lyzr agent with agents built on external frameworks.
Once your A2A server is set up, these agents can exchange data, trigger actions, and run connected workflows like they’re part of the same system.
This means your customer support agent can trigger insights from an analytics agent elsewhere, or your internal agent can fetch data from an external reasoning agent, all without manual switching.
A2A support is also coming soon to Manager Agent and MCP
3. Email Alerts for Low Credits
No one likes finding out too late that their credits ran out.
Lyzr now sends automatic email alerts when usage crosses 50%, 90%, and 100%. It’s a small detail, but one that keeps agents active without interruptions, especially during critical workflows or demos.
4. Fixes and Improvements
This month’s release also focused on the finer details, improving performance and clearing out small snags.
- Response streaming is now faster in published agents after removing animations.
- Editing within the API node works smoothly again.
- Agents can be deleted in one go , both published and base versions.
Each tweak helps your agents respond faster, load quicker, and stay more reliable.
5. Custom Tools with ACI.dev
Connecting APIs often means handling tokens, authentication, and refresh cycles , tasks that take time and add complexity.
Lyzr now supports custom tools built using ACI.dev, an open-source framework that simplifies API integration.
Here’s what it adds:
- Works with OAuth, API Key, or No Auth setups.
- Automatically refreshes tokens.
- Supports secure connections out of the box.
If you’ve been juggling credentials while building integrations, this update removes that friction. Just connect your API once and focus on the logic, not the maintenance.
6. New Lyzr Apps in the Marketplace
The marketplace got a few new additions this month, each built to handle a practical business use case.
| App Name | Description |
| HR Candidate Sourcing Agent | Finds and organizes candidate profiles automatically. |
| HR Policy Compliance Manager | Keeps HR documentation aligned with company policies. |
| Open Source Perplexity | Brings open-source search and reasoning to your workspace. |
| Marketing Data Collection Agent | Collects campaign data and insights across channels. |
Each one is ready to use out of the box , or customize and make your own.
Wrapping Up
October’s updates are all about removing small barriers that slow down big ideas , faster API setup, connected agents, better alerts, and smoother performance.
Every new feature adds up to one goal: helping you build with fewer steps in between.
As we move into November, expect even more improvements to workflows, management, and integrations , all focused on making agents easier to build, run, and scale.
